Faith Formation

 

Daily Religion

At IC School, our faith in God and our Lord Jesus Christ is present in each lesson we teach.  We strive to model Christ and his teachings in all our words and actions.  The values of our Catholic faith are not taught only during religion class, they are integrated into every part of our day.

 

Weekly Mass

Students attend mass every week and are required to wear uniforms on this day. All classes will take turns participating in and helping during mass.

 

Adoration

Students in grades 3-6 take turns attending Eucharistic Adoration on Thursdays.

 

Ambassadors for Christ

Our fifth and sixth grade students serve as ambassadors for Christ throughout the school year. In the fall the students attend a workshop at the Mother of God Monastery that teaches students the importance of serving others. Ambassadors for Christ serve in a variety of roles to serve others wherever they are needed.
